WHO WE ARE

Come and find out more about who we are and what we believe.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At NHCC, we are all about Jesus — the only way to get to know Jesus is to understand what the Bible says about Him, which also includes what He said about Himself.

We believe in the authenticity and inspiration of the Bible as the primary basis of our faith.

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired word of God and the final authority for faith and life.

We believe that the Holy Sprirt is a person and part of the Triune Godhead. Through Him believers are empowered to accomplish the purposes of God and are enabled to act on the words of Jesus.

He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptising all believers into the body of Christ.

Life is often hard as we sin and experience the effects of sin, but through Jesus, God redeems our stories and creates a new story of hope, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Though life is not always perfect and without pain, the Bible promises that Jesus loves us, has good plans for us, and brings healing to us, even in the hardest of circumstances.

We believe Jesus give us a new story to tell. A story of His work changing us. These stories are testaments to the truth that Jesus is the Saviour of this world and of our lives.

Where People Care

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Matthew 5 : 14-16

Where People Matter

But God has so composed the body, that there may be no division but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one person suffers, all suffer together; if one person is honored, all rejoice together.

1 Corinthians 12 : 24-26

Where People Love

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22 : 36-40
